    Job Description

    POSITION TITLE: Preconstruction Coordinator
    REPORTS TO: Preconstruction Manager
    DEPARTMENT: Preconstruction

    Overview

    Preconstruction Coordinator is primarily responsible for leading the Preconstruction efforts on assigned projects and remaining a resource for the Operation teams on those projects through final completion

    SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

    • Review the project plans and specifications for design deficiencies and compliance with all applicable codes.
    • Coordinate the electrical requirements within the building (MEP, sleeving, horizontal, etc.)
    • Coordinate the electrical and systems services with incoming utilities and verify the requirements of AHJ are met.
    • Layout equipment based on product submittals and route/circuit wiring based on project requirements.
    • Develop temporary power plan and produce riser design for submission to client and local utility.
    • Support the Operations team for the duration of the project, providing assistance with RFI drafting, redlines, and as-builts.

    Included But Not Limited To:

    • Previous Electrical experience (field, office, or both) is a must
    • Experienced with Excel, Word & Adobe/Bluebeam; CADD, Accubid, or Timberline is helpful but not a must.
    • Design/Build or Design/Assist experience is desirable, but not a must
    • Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment and work with all levels of management.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Self-starter that is extremely detail oriented
