    Job Description

    POSITION TITLE: Project Manager
    REPORTS TO: Divisional Operations Manager
    DEPARTMENT: Project Management

    Overview

    The Project Manager ensures the overall success of the construction project. This individual is responsible for activities associated with materials, budgeting, and production. The Project Manager helps to cultivate opportunities for future projects by providing excellent customer service, maintaining quality assurance, and building a financially successful project.

    SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

    • Plan and attend job start and status meetings
    • Review contract documents and manage the project take-offs
    • Obtain and maintain plans and plan revisions
    • Purchase material by obtaining quotes and evaluating various vendors
    • Obtain and provide all submittals to the customer
    • Manage Change Orders and Requests for Information (RFI)
    • Review and manage the project budget
    • Review construction schedules for release dates, releasing material and following-up
    • Coordinate with Project Superintendent to ensure releases of material are accurate and complete for timely production
    • Serve as the primary contact for customers and questions or issues as they arise
    • Travel to jobsite to meet with customers and Project Superintendent on a regular basis
    • Maintain correspondence log, jobsite photos and job folders
    • Work with Contract Administrator and Project Superintendent to ensure a smooth job close-out

    Included But Not Limited To:

    • Must have a Bachelor's Degree, construction management a plus
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of related project management experience, preferably with a general contractor.
    • Highly organized and detailed oriented.
    • Strong communication skills – written and verbal.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Timberline Software experience a plus).
    • Professional and customer-focused
    • Ability to multi-task and meet stringent deadlines
    • Demonstrate and uphold all the core values of Power Design which include: Integrity, Teamwork, Accountability, Innovation, and Growth.
    • Non-smoker
