Safety Manager
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Safety Manager provides leadership and assistance to Power Design’s Health and Safety Program. The Safety Manager is responsible for the effectiveness of safety-related programs and training as well as promoting a safe work environment at all times.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Evaluate effectiveness of all safety related programs and modify as necessary.
- Develop and manage safety-training programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and company policies and procedures.
- Maintain compliance and monitor all federal and state rules and regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections to verify safety standards comply with company and regulatory standards.
- Act as liaison between management, regulatory agencies, customers, and insurance carriers.
- Participate in the development of safety related materials and documents as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction or safety related field.
- At least five years of construction project management experience.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and other safety related regulations.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish speaking preferred).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.

- Non-smoker.
