    Job Description

    POSITION TITLE: Scheduling Manager
    REPORTS TO: Director of Human Resources
    DEPARTMENT: Human Resources

    Overview

    The Scheduling Manager is accountable for aligning information regarding project production schedules and requirements with available personnel in the most effective and efficient manner. This includes maintaining a dynamic schedule with a number of variables related to the project or personnel. The Scheduling Manager partners closely with Executive Management, Operations, Human Resources, and Training.

    SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

    • Create project labor related schedules in database and maintain corresponding changes
    • Maintain database containing project personnel requirements
    • Assign qualified personnel based upon pre-established criteria in the most effective manner once approved by Operations
    • Partner with Training and Development on future projects to ensure availability of qualified personnel
    • Communicate with Corporate Recruiters regarding shortages of available personnel in a timely manner

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Included But Not Limited To:

    • Bachelor’s degree required
    • Prior scheduling experience in a project-based environment
    • Highly organized and able to meet deadlines
    • Ability to work independently, with little daily direction
    • High sense of urgency regarding critical components of the position
    • Excellent communication skills – interpersonal, written, and verbal
    • Excellent computer skills – Word, Excel, and project scheduling software
    • Demonstrates and upholds Power Design’s core values: Integrity, Teamwork, Accountability, Innovation, and Growth.
