Senior Accountant
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Senior Accountant is responsible for coordinating daily accounting operations and working closely with the Controller in the oversight and integrity of the accounting data and/or reports for the company.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Coordinate monthly close process and reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
- Assist in coordinating the budget process.
- Develop and implement various accounting procedures.
- Maintain system of accounts and keep records on all company transactions and assets.
- Report, analyze, and ensure integrity of all financial information.
- Work with both internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree. (Preferably in Accounting or Finance.)
- At least five years of accounting or financial experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrate and uphold all of Power Design’s core values, which include Integrity, Accountability, Teamwork, Innovation, and Growth.
- Non-smoker.
