Job Description
POSITION TITLE: Staffing ResearcherREPORTS TO: Staffing Manager
DEPARTMENT: Human Resources
Overview
The Staffing Assistant will perform various administrative duties to support the Staffing Department’s recruiting and candidate development activities for all company job openings. The Staffing Assistant will also be involved in other functions related to Staffing.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Post job openings on company website and relevant job boards
- Filter and sort all employment applications
- Perform daily resume searches on job boards for all job openings
- Communicate application status to applicants
- Consult with Staffing Manager to understand job openings; research different recruiting methods for open positions
- Enter all resumes and update applicant status in recruiting database
- Follow-up with employee referrals to request resume and application
- Work on special projects and provide other administrative support to the department as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Must have at least 1-2 years of work experience, preferably in a professional work environment.
- Must have a high sense of urgency, the ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
- Must have excellent communication skills and ability to handle a high volume workload
- Must be detail-oriented
- Must have a outgoing and friendly personality
- Bilingual Spanish a plus
