How Did You Get Hired?

I joined Power Design through a referral from a colleague. He's been with Power Design for several years and sold me on the sheer magnitude of the company's projects, their employee loyalty and their innovative business model. After working in the construction industry for 20 years, it feels great to be with a stable company that really cares about its people. Power Design recognized my level of experience and offered me the estimator position. It was a great move for my family!

  • Expanding my knowledge of code requirements for various regions of the country.
  • Having a broad base of peers to share ideas with and the accessibility to upper management.
  • Working with customers on plan deficiency reviews to keep the construction process running smoothly.

What’s Your Career Path?

I've been at Power Design for over a year, and the next step is to become a senior estimator, a project manager, an electrical designer, or a project superintendent. There are a lot of different career tracks to choose from, depending on what your interests are.
