Wearing Red to Support American Heart Association
Power Design wears red on National Wear Red Day to show support for the American Heart Association: Go Red for Women and promote awareness for heart disease and stroke. Thank you to all of our employees who participated! Why wear red on the next National Wear Red day, Feb 3rd, 2017?
Here’s why: heart disease and stroke cause 1 in 3 deaths among women each year, killing approximately one woman every 80 seconds. Fortunately, we have the power to change that because 80 percent of cardiac and stroke events may be prevented with education and action.
