The program titled 'Power Essentials' is 5-day interactive workshop that consists of industry best practices and company specific procedures to help field teams become more effective in managing new construction projects. Over the week, Power Design's 12,000 square foot training facility is transformed into a simulation experience providing hands-on, practical training.

"Participants leave better educated on industry and company practices and procedures, and teams from different jobs sites engage in friendly competition building knowledge and camaraderie," says Power Design Director of Training & Development, Todd Gladden.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL (January 29, 2010) - Power Design, Inc., in partnership with Investment Café, announced that the companies have teamed up to donate the use of their corporate plane to Caritas Christi Health Care clinicians to use for medical missions to Haiti leaving today. The clinicians will use donated medical equipment and supplies to care for those in need in this earthquake ravaged country.

The plane will be used to transport clinicians and medical supplies from Ft. Lauderdale and Tampa to Haiti and specifically to Cap Haitien, a city in the outlying areas in the north of the country. In addition to the Port Au Prince, the outlying areas were also devastated by the earthquake and these regions are the focus of Caritas Christi Health Care missions.

Each completed an overall questionnaire about retirement plans, health insurance, profit sharing or stock options, performance-based reviews, employee training, paternity leave, and perks such as parking, child care, subsidized transportation, or tuition reimbursement. Employees then responded to questionnaires, addressing pride in the company; whether and how the company encourages, supports and recognizes achievement; open communication; whether compensation is fair; and relationships with co-workers and immediate supervisors.
