The National

Baltimore, MD
The National (a.k.a. the Apartments at Brewers Hill) is a multifamily housing development that is part of an effort to revitalize the historic Brewers Hill district in Baltimore, MD.

Through Power Design's extensive design-build process, existing dry utilities were redesigned with the civil contractor to reduce excavation costs.  Additionally, more than 165 electrical drawings were submitted in a three-month fast-track design process.

The Ascent

Tysons Corner, VA
With more than 338,000 square feet and 21 stories of residential space, The Ascent apartments are poised to be a striking feature of the Tysons Corner landscape.  To increase sustainability, Power Design designed lighting systems to exceed ASHRAE standards for energy performance.

2400 Nueces

Austin, TX
2400 Nueces, a 306 unit design-build student housing project for the University of Texas at Austin, is Power Design's 30th student housing project in the last two years and a first time Power Design project with Hensel Phelps Construction, a multibillion dollar contractor.  2400 Nueces is a luxury 16 story high-rise located just two blocks from the center of campus.  The project is due to open in summer 2013.

Archstone Square 673

Washington, DC
Archstone Square 673, also known as 1^st& M, is located in Washington, D.C. in the growing NoMa neighborhood. Power Design teamed up with Paradigm Construction to complete electrical work on both the 470 unit residential high rise and 20,000 square feet of retail space. The project is due to open in spring 2012.

• The construction is unique in that the project has an onsite concrete batch plant. This allows the concrete subcontractor to produce concrete on demand, allowing the structure of the building to progress quickly.
• The amenity fixture package alone is over $1 million, creating an exciting challenge for our field team that will no doubt result in a superior project.
