A Senior Super Series: Arizona Edition

Written by Power Design | Sep 15, 2023 5:43:58 PM

A tradesman. A legend. A leader. Three titles that come to mind when describing Senior Superintendent Dan Soto.

Dan’s proudest title yet is Senior Superintendent because simply put, it speaks to the impact he’s made at Power Design over the last two decades. While currently based in Arizona, he’s shaped skylines from coast-to-coast with us and has left his mark on the industry in more ways than one over the last 40 years

After moving from New York to Florida with the hesitation of becoming “just another number” at Power Design, Dan’s mind was quickly put at ease after a casual cup of coffee with CEO Mitch Permuy. Not many tradesmen can say they grab coffee with their CEO, but Dan can and it left him feeling assured, valued, and like family — #PDIFamily to be exact.

Aligned with Power Design’s core values on and off the job site, Dan leads by example and prioritizes continued learning and development for both himself and his teams. As we pride ourselves on setting industry standards and leading with innovation, so does Dan — evident by his contribution to the launch of our Best Practices center: a dedicated training space on the GRID where our field experts continue learning, testing, and developing in their trade.

This Senior (Super)star has been building more than skylines, he’s been building careers for the next generations by setting our teams up for success across the country. From mentoring apprentices to empowering foremen to take the next step, Dan’s passion for helping others create their own legacy is unmatched — leaving the future generation with this: “My best piece of advice is you’re going to get out what you put in, so if you put big efforts in, you’re going to get big rewards,Dan Soto said. You’ll want to hear it from the man himself, check it out.

To sum up his time at Power Design thus far, Dan just had one thing to say: “Let me tell ya, it’s been one heck of a ride.” Join the ride and apply here to leave your legacy, just like Dan.
