Every year, Women in Construction Week gives the industry a moment to pause and recognize the women who are building, leading, and redefining what construction looks like today.
This year’s celebration brought together powerhouse women from across the company – coast to coast and virtually with our team in Costa Rica – for real conversations, real connections, and a lot of inspiration along the way. Catch the recap below!
The week was packed with opportunities to connect and celebrate. One of the biggest highlights was a panel discussion that brought all the women from Power Design together to share insights from their careers and advice for the next generation entering the trades.
Following the panel, smaller breakout sessions created space for more personal conversations, giving team members the chance to share experiences and learn from one another in a more collaborative setting.
Throughout the week, we also spotlighted women who shared what it means to build a career in construction, and why this industry continues to open doors for those willing to step up. From discovering their own resilience to realizing there’s truly no ceiling for growth here, their stories highlight something we believe deeply at Power Design: when people are given the opportunity to lead, learn, and push themselves, incredible things happen.
From apprentices learning the ropes to leaders shaping the future, our women are raising the bar across the board. They’re solving complex challenges, leading teams, and proving that talent, grit, and drive are what truly move this industry forward.
Because when talented people are empowered to step up and lead, there’s no limit to what we can build together.
