What started as a way to give early-career professionals real-world experience has evolved into a dynamic, cross-functional journey that’s building stronger teams and an even stronger business.
Throughout the Power Track journey, our PEs get access to the kind of mentorship and real-time feedback that fast-track their growth. By learning directly from seasoned pros across multiple departments, they gain both the technical skills and the big-picture thinking it takes to thrive in today’s fast-paced construction world.
This June, we wrapped up another round of Power Track Draft Day – our version of the big leagues. After two years of hands-on learning, 29 Project Engineers (PEs) officially crossed home plate, ready to join their new departments. Teams stepped up to “draft” their newest players during a high-energy, baseball-themed celebration – and let’s just say, there were no curveballs, only home runs.

Power Track has more than doubled in size in recent years. We’ve expanded the rotations to include more scopes, more departments, and more collaboration between teams. It’s become a truly cross-organizational effort that’s helping us break down silos and build more well-rounded, team members that are ready to tackle the challenges that come in our industry.
