Ready to Lead: Our Newest Superintendents

Written by Power Design | Aug 21, 2026, 5:30:07 PM

Stepping into a new role is a big deal, and at Power Design, we want our team members to feel ready for it.

That’s why 14 Assistant Superintendents from across the country recently packed their bags and headed to the GRID for our first-ever Superintendent Training Week — an intensive program designed to prepare them to take the next big step in their careers as Project Superintendents. The group spent the week learning together, connecting with leaders, and digging into the skills and responsibilities that come with leading in the field.

But this opportunity wasn't only about training for a new role; it was about making sure these leaders knew just how many people were in their corner.

Our teams may be spread across jobsites from coast to coast, but the GRID is here to support every one of them. From training and development to resources, mentorship, and people who are always just a call away, distance from St. Pete never means doing it alone.

That support is a big part of how we approach career growth at Power Design. We love seeing our people grow from within, take on new challenges, and turn their career goals into reality. When someone is ready for their next move, we give them the tools to get there — and celebrate when they do.

After a week of learning and preparing together, all 14 officially earned their promotions to Project Superintendent. With our Directors of Field Development alongside them, the group got some well-deserved recognition for all the hard work that got them there.

And that investment in our people reaches far beyond the GRID. By making sure our field leaders have the right training, tools, and support before stepping into their next role, we’re building stronger teams for every project and making sure our partners can count on knowledgeable, prepared leaders in the field.

We’re excited to keep creating opportunities that prepare our people for what’s next, strengthen the teams leading our projects, and give more team members the chance to build the careers they want right here at Power Design. And we can’t wait to see what our newest Project Superintendents accomplish next!
