Winterfest 2025: Where Holiday Fun Meets Giving Back

Written by Power Design | Dec 19, 2025 7:13:26 PM

At Power Design, showing up for our people and our community is part of who we are. Winterfest is one of our favorite traditions because it brings everyone together — our team, their families, and a shared commitment to giving back. This year’s celebration delivered plenty of fun while creating meaningful impact where it matters most.

Over 1,000 Toys Donated

The true heart of the night was our annual toy drive. Between drop boxes placed around campus all week, toys brought to the event, and Amazon orders sent directly to the hospital, Power Design collected more than 1,000 toys for Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital.

Power Design is proud to be one of the top toy contributors to this cause and the title sponsor of All Kids’ Wonderland, a program that creates a free “shopping” experience for parents and caregivers of children spending the holidays in the hospital. It’s all about bringing a little joy, normalcy, and choice to families during a tough season.

Beyond the donations, many Power Design team members also volunteered their time at the All Kids’ Wonderland event, helping bring the experience to life for families and ensuring every child felt the excitement and care behind the cause.

Gingerbread Village = Family Fun for Everyone

This year’s Gingerbread Village theme came to life with something for every age, including bounce houses, rock climbing, bumper cars, trampolines, face painting, a movie area, food trucks, and a snow play zone with real snow (Florida-approved miracle).

For the grown-ups, the Peppermint Parlor adults-only zone featured a full bar, darts, shuffleboard, pool, a live DJ, a caricature artist, and the ultimate showdown: a beer pong tournament championship, complete with cash prizes. Because it wouldn’t be Power Design without a little competitive spirit!

A Decades of Dedication Surprise

Winterfest also included another unforgettable Decades of Dedication moment. This program celebrates team members who’ve dedicated 10+ years to Power Design, and this year’s car giveaway winner was Project Executive Kodi Klotz.

Kodi, who just hit his 10-year anniversary in October, chose a 1969 orange Chevy Camaro – an iconic ride for a milestone worth celebrating.

More Than Just a Party

Winterfest isn’t just an event, it’s a reflection of who we are. A company that celebrates its people, includes families, and uses moments of fun to create meaningful impact beyond our walls. To everyone who donated a toy, volunteered, competed, danced, laughed, and helped make the night unforgettable – thank you for showing what it truly means to be part of the #PDIFamily.
