    Distribution  Reimagined

Since breaking ground in late 2020, Power Design’s new 208,000-square-foot distribution and prefabrication facility has created a buzz in Manatee County. The new facility called 'The LINK'— which is actively hiring— is changing how we think about traditional warehouse work!

The LINK boasts the complete opposite of typical warehouse work, as it was designed to benefit and uplift employee well-being. The expansive space is home to open assembly areas and meeting rooms, classroom space for trainings, natural sunlight, inspiring mural art and large-scale photos of our employees, a cafeteria with communal tables for gathering, and outdoor green spaces for rest and relaxation. The biggest differentiator from other typical warehouse facilities is simple – it’s the work itself: full-time and non-seasonal, requiring no nights or weekends.

Power Design offers a variety of professional development opportunities at The LINK within the walls of our engaging classroom spaces. All employees have access to these free resources so they can have the ability to cross-functionally train and earn licenses to move into additional lines of work.

Inspired by our desire to seek out ways to build better and do things differently, the distribution and prefab functions of the space eliminate inconsistencies in the supply chain and minimize labor on the job site, providing faster installations and reduced material handling and waste.

The LINK may be the latest addition to our mission of becoming our client’s most trusted partner while delivering unmatched performance, but it is nothing new to our ethos as a business. We are thrilled to expand our footprint here in the Tampa Bay region and contribute to the economic growth of our community while also providing quality jobs and sophisticated work.

Work Perks for those seeking employment at The LINK:

    ● The work is full-time, stable, and non-seasonal, with no nights or weekends – a big differentiator from other warehouse facilities.

    ● The new warehouse features employee common areas like a cafeteria with picnic tables and booths, open assembly and meeting rooms, and new green spaces on its grounds. Inspiring mural art and photography can be found inside, along with secure storage for personal belongings.

    ● Warehouse employees will also have access to Power Design’s national campus in nearby St.Petersburg boasting a free gym, lake with running track, and onsite café spread across roughly 50 acres.

    ● Competitive pay and family benefits, paid time and holidays off.

We’re building the complete opposite of a typical warehouse. This campus expansion will keep our employee-focused culture, offering opportunity and work-life balance for teams that they won’t find elsewhere.

Growth Opportunities: As a family-owned company with more than 30 years of history, Power Design’s success stems from employee growth. With a locally-based national campus and nearly 6,000 employees across the country, you’ll have an opportunity to learn from the industry’s best and brightest.

Construction is essential and facing labor shortages, meaning stability for the future workforce. Warehouse staff will have free access to learning and development resources, the ability to cross-functionally train and earn licenses to move into additional lines of work. Power Design also offers wellness programs to help people grow personally, and professionally.

Sustainable Mission: Compared to the previously Atlanta-based warehouse, the new space is double in size with three-times the available pallet positions. The expansion allows for 50,000-square-feet of prefabrication space as well, where workers will use planning and technology to pre-build construction assemblies for jobsites. This means faster and easier installations onsite, while reducing material handling and waste. The warehouse also affords Power Design national buying power, and the ability to safely store and ship jobsite materials with quality control. As an asset to the overall business, teams will have the opportunity to positively impact supply chain, the client experience, save time, and reduce waste.
