    Mo money, mo problems? We don’t think so! Power Design is looking for an Accounts Payable Manager who has their mind on our money and our money on their mind. The AP Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily functions of the Accounts Payable team, including the management of efficient and accurate processing of all transactions. In this position, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing the company's AP processes.

    • Manage and lead a team of accounts payable professionals.
    • Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure team efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Oversee the timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors.
    • Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to invoices and payments.
    • Coordinate the processing of payments to vendors.
    • Implement and maintain efficient payment workflows.
    • Assist in the month-end closing process, including reconciling accounts payable transactions.
    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of the accounts payable function.
    • Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations related to accounts payable.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

    here’s what we’re looking for…

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or related field.
    • Proven experience in Accounts Payable management, within a similar size large-scale company and with several years directly managing a team.
    • Must be proficient with the Microsoft Office suite.
    • Experience using the Oracle Accounts Payable module is preferred, but not required.
    • Ability to analyze data and generate insightful reports.
    • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
