    Mitch Permuy

    Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Since 1989, Mitch has continuously pushed industry standards and expectations as an innovative leader, growing Power Design from a start-up family business in his garage into a billion-dollar company that’s earned its place among Fortune Top 100.

As Chairman and CEO, Mitch not only steers the vision and culture of the company in his multifaceted role, but also oversees the day-to-day operations and execution of Power Design’s projects and services throughout the country. With a keen understanding of the market dynamics, Mitch works alongside the executive leadership team in implementing a robust business strategy, ensuring that Power Design remains agile and adaptable in the face of ever-changing industry landscapes.

Mitch has been pushing Power Design to challenge the status quo of the construction industry by focusing on the future instead of the past. He was instrumental in the creation of Power Design’s Power Up Best Practices training program, which was established to ensure that consistency and quality field installations take place on all Power Design job sites, no matter where in the country they are located. He also helped raise the bar on Power Design’s prefabrication and distribution services when the company relocated its Atlanta-based distribution center to Manatee County and doubled its size to help contribute to a seamless client experience.

When he’s not helping Power Design raise industry standards, Mitch relishes spending quality time with his wife (Power Design Co-Founder Dana Permuy), children, and grandchildren. Additionally, Mitch has an adventurous spirit and takes pleasure in exploring various destinations around the globe, broadening his horizons through travel.
