    about the position…

    The HR Coordinator represents the Human Resources department to internal and external customers by delivering exceptional white-glove customer service.  In this role, you will be the first point of contact for employees, providing professional and knowledgeable support and resources.

    position details/responsibilities…

    • Handle all incoming emails and calls into the HR phone line and determine if they need to be transferred to a team member or respective department.
    • Create tickets for customers emailing or calling HR and strive to assist the customer with a first-call resolution either by themselves or by escalating the call to a team member.
    • Ensure acknowledgment and response to employee inquiries, concerns, compliments, and complaints within 24 hours of receipt.
    • Investigate/research a wide variety of issues and requests that include gathering additional information, setting expectations, and working with other team members to fulfill the inquiry.
    • Determine and implement appropriate strategies and actions to resolve employee inquiries.
    • Route, maintain, and track outstanding inquiries and provide thorough follow-up.
    • Accountable for the successful resolution of all employee inquiries/requests.
    • Work with other departments to coordinate service efforts as needed to help ensure timely resolution to employee inquiries.
    • Work on projects and perform other duties as assigned.

    here’s what we’re looking for…

    • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or another related field and 1-3 years of related work experience is required.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    • Superior customer service skills to provide and deliver professional, helpful, high-quality assistance to achieve desired, expressed, and unarticulated optimal results.
    • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to interface with all levels of staff and management.
    • Demonstrate and uphold all the core values of Power Design, which include integrity, accountability, teamwork, innovation, and growth.
