    Challenge accepted.

Power Design donates 100% of the proceeds from scrap metal we collect on job sites to employee-chosen charities in the communities where we live and work. We call it Project V5, and this program is our way of turning trash into treasure. Since 2007, we have donated more than $1.2 million to charities across the country, all because of our scrap metal collection.

The impact is in the numbers, and this program is close to our hearts. We sent our field employees new Project V5 stickers and asked that they place them on a collection bin or somewhere on the job site where Project V5 scrap metal would easily be identified. Then, all they had to do was snap a picture of their collection bin for the chance to win a $500 donation to their charity of choice!

The challenge was accepted and our field teams got creative! In the end, we donated $500 to MaxFund, a no-kill animal shelter adoption center in Colorado that gives animals a second chance at life thanks to superintendent John Hoffman, our V5 sticker challenge winner. We were so impressed with the dedication to V5 and the entries we received that we decided to give 10 additional prizes of $100 to charities chosen by challenge participants!
