We hosted Power Design’s first-ever Tough Rougher where 4 8-man crews from each region went head-to-head to see which team could rough a 900 sq ft apartment unit the best and fastest. The teams gathered at 801 Central in downtown St. Petersburg, where the competition was set to start at 8 a.m. sharp! With the grand prize of $25,000 on the line, these guys got to work.
Each team had a designated QC judge to watch and score on safety, quality, and timeliness to determine the best tough rougher team.
In the end, the Mid-Atlantic 1 team took home the $25,000 for roughing the entire unit, including panels, kitchen boxes, bath wiring, and safety infrastructure in 3 hours and 25 minutes with zero safety penalties.
The Southwest team was close behind, winning $10,000 for finishing in 3 hours and 41 mins! We’re incredibly proud of ALL of the teams that participated. They proved to be the best of the best, and we could not be prouder to have them in the PDI family.
