    About the Position…

    At Power Design, we’re not just building spaces—we’re creating environments that inspire innovation, collaboration, and excellence. We’re seeking an Assistant Interior Designer who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and eager to grow their design career. This entry-level role blends hands-on creative support with the organizational skills needed to keep projects moving forward.

    You’ll work directly with our Campus Interior Designer, supporting projects from concept through completion. From assisting with space planning and finish selections to maintaining documentation and coordinating with vendors, you’ll play a key role in ensuring seamless execution while gaining exposure to the full design process.

    Position Details/Responsibilities…

    Design Support

    • Assist with space planning, finish selections, and FF&E documentation

    • Prepare finish schedules, sample boards, and design presentations

    • Maintain and refine design process documentation

    Organization & Documentation

    • Track tasks, deadlines, and action items, escalating as needed

    • Organize and maintain the finish library and vendor/product records

    • Ensure trackers, spreadsheets, and project documentation remain accurate and up-to-date

    Communication & Coordination

    • Serve as a point of contact to gather documentation and confirm specifications (through CID approval)

    • Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to support project progress

    • Prepare agendas, meeting notes, and follow-ups for design-related meetings

    here’s what we’re looking for…

    • 1–3 years of experience in a design-related or administrative support role (internships included)

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or Adobe Creative Suite preferred

    • Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills

    • Highly detail-oriented, with excellent organizational skills

    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

    • A strong eye for design with the discipline to manage details

    • A proactive and adaptable team player who can balance creative and administrative tasks

    • A clear communicator who thrives in collaborative, cross-functional settings

    • Someone motivated to learn, grow, and expand their career in design and project coordination
