    About the position...

These rough packages will be used in the field for our installation teams to perform their work according with the design intent, owner wishes, constructability and PDI Best Practices. A successful candidate will be able to adapt to the uneven flow of information and construction schedule changes well working directly with the Prefab Design Manager to ensure quality installation drawings are being produced within a timely manner.

    • Understand and Apply Power Design’s AutoCAD and/or Revit Standards into each Roughbook drawing design.
    • Work with Prefab Best Practices & QC Processes to understand how they relate to all drawings.

    • Apply all applicable NEC Articles 110, 210, 310 & 314 that apply to Dwelling Units
    • Apply working knowledge of building types & electrical installation requirements within a dwelling unit.
    • Assist on the updating Panel Schedules and Prefab Breakdown Books in collaboration with the latest approved Engineering of Record Drawings
    • Ability to create Prefab Unit Roughbook packages under direct supervision.
    • Understand construction principles as it relates to all MEP trades within a Dwelling Space
    • Add Prefabrication device nomenclature, device ID and assembly codes to each design drawing.

    here's what we're looking for...

    • Understanding of AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam
    • High School Diploma/GED
    • 0-3 years of experience
