About the Position
As our Travel Concierge Manager, you’ll provide top-tier, end-to-end travel support—booking flights, hotels, and rental cars—for our Operations team. Acting as a dedicated concierge, you’ll streamline the travel experience, ensure convenience, and centrally manage costs to deliver measurable savings.
Position Details / Responsibilities
- Concierge-Level Travel Support
- Manage all major travel arrangements (flights, accommodations, rental cars, etc.) for the Operations team with a client-first mindset.
- Offer proactive, personalized assistance that anticipates needs—from seamless itineraries to on-the-fly adjustments.
- Centralized Travel Coordination & Cost Management
- Serve as the single point of contact for all operational travel needs across the enterprise.
- Leverage travel data tools to track, analyze, and report cost-saving opportunities and compliance trends.
- Implement strategies to maximize value through negotiated rates, preferred vendor relationships, and smart booking practices—similar to the cost-saving focus in corporate travel roles .
- Policy Oversight & Compliance
- Ensure travel bookings adhere to company travel guidelines and budgets
- Partner with Procurement and Finance to negotiate and manage supplier agreements (airlines, hotels, car rental)
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of travel policies and proactively communicate updates to teams.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Finance, Procurement, and HR to align travel services with broader business goals.
- Act as a trusted travel advisor, responding swiftly to booking questions and change requests.
- Provide regular reports on travel spend, savings realized, and usage trends to leadership—matching the data analysis emphasis seen in similar roles .
- Continuous Improvement
- Evaluate and recommend tools, systems, or technologies to enhance efficiency, visibility, and user experience across travel services.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Operations, or a related discipline.
- 3–5+ years of experience in corporate travel coordination, preferably with a concierge or operations focus.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills—ability to interpret travel spend, identify savings, and communicate insights to leadership .
- Excellent interpersonal and service-oriented communication skills; resourceful and flexible under pressure.
- Experience using travel tools or platforms (e.g., Concur, Egencia, etc.).
- Prior experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating travel-related supplier contracts.
- Bonus: Certification in corporate travel management (e.g., GBTA), or experience supervising or mentoring a travel team .
