    Title: Development Specialist / Full time Nanny

    Position Summary

    The Development Specialist position is a hybrid role combining hands-on childcare and household administration. This individual provides attentive, developmentally appropriate care to the children while ensuring the seamless daily operation of the home.

    The position requires exceptional organizational skills, discretion, flexibility, and a genuine love for children. The ideal candidate is proactive, service-oriented, and capable of managing household logistics and upkeep while maintaining a nurturing, structured environment for the family.

    General guidelines and expectations:

    • Encourage organizational behavior with the kids

    • Encourage physical activity and provide diverse environments for the children, such as playground outings, walks around the neighborhood, biking, scooter, swimming, soccer, and spending time outside when the weather permits.

    • Devise educational activities for the kids to stimulate their brain and motor skills- we encourage ideas and are happy to support and purchase whatever is needed to accomplish this.

    • Maintain confidentiality, discretion, and professional boundaries always

    • Provide flexibility for evenings, overnights, or travel when required. We will provide as much notice as possible ahead of time to accommodate, but we understand that sometimes it isn’t feasible.

    • Communicate regularly with parents regarding daily routines, progress and needs.

    • Maintain children’s areas, clothing, and supplies in an organized condition

    • Manage school drop-offs/ pick-ups, extracurriculars, and playdates.

    • Provide attentive and age-appropriate care for children (feeding, bathing, dressing, transporting, supervising activities)

    • Understanding schedules can vary from day to day while taking care of the children. Break times may vary depending on their sleep schedule or current circumstances.

    • CPR certification required within 3 months of employment.
