About the Position
Ready, set, secure! We’re looking for a cybersecurity pro to implement and manage security solutions for Power Design’s systems, networks, and devices to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive data.
Position Responsibilities
Design and Implement Security Solutions: Develop and deploy security strategies and tools like antivirus software, endpoint detection and response (EDR) systems, and encryption technologies
Monitor and Respond to Security Incidents: Actively monitor networks and endpoints for suspicious activity, investigate security breaches, and implement strategies to mitigate threats
Maintain Security Posture: Conduct regular system testing and vulnerability scanning, and apply security patches to keep systems secure
Collaborate with IT Teams: Work with other teams to develop security policies and incident response plans and ensure compliance with industry regulations
Stay Up-to-Date: Keep up with the latest threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies to maintain a robust defense against evolving cyberattacks
Here’s What We’re Looking For
Strong Cybersecurity Fundamentals: A solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat detection, and incident response methodologies
Endpoint Security Tools: Proficiency with endpoint security tools like EDR solutions (e.g., CrowdStrike, Carbon Black, SentinelOne), antivirus software, and other relevant security technologies
Networking Concepts: Understanding of network protocols, security configurations, and network segmentation strategies
Operating Systems and Security: Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and their security configurations
Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with other teams and communicate security risks and solutions
Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze security incidents, identify vulnerabilities, and develop effective solutions
