    About the Position…

    Does the idea of supporting projects that shape skylines across the nation excite you? If so, Power Design is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Construction Administrator to join our growing team.

    This role supports projects that have transitioned from design into construction and serves as a key connection between the engineering design team, contractors, and project stakeholders. The Construction Administrator plays an important role in ensuring projects are built in accordance with design intent while supporting construction administration, project coordination, and engineering operations throughout the project lifecycle.

    Position Details & Responsibilities…

    • Support the design division across MEP construction scopes.
    • Manage in- and out-processing of RFIs and submittals, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution.
    • Assist with tracking, documentation, and processing change orders.
    • Review project schedules, schedules of values, submittal logs, and related project documentation.
    • Observe and report work not in conformance with the construction documents.
    • Review contractors pay applications, as applicable to the scope of services.
    • Participate in system start-up, commissioning observations, project closeout, and warranty-phase activities.
    • Gain hands-on exposure to the design-build process with opportunities to grow into engineering and project management roles.

    Here’s What We’re Looking For…

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field preferred.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
    • High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
    • Excellent communication skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
    • Ability to analyze and resolve problems at both strategic and functional levels.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
