    Position Responsibilities

    • Manage estimating processes and timelines to meet company objectives, both short and long-term
    • Communicate with operations teams and customers to define the project scope, and/or analyze bid documents to qualify targeted opportunities
    • Develop conceptual engineering capabilities, including system selection, layout, and sizing
    • Source, contact, solicit bids from, and distribute support documents to subcontractors and vendors
    • Estimate interim designs to track and confirm pricing, conducting necessary research for accurate pricing
    • Communicate with customers to define project scope, address deficiencies, negotiate pricing, and build relationships
    • Provide leadership, direction, and training to assigned estimating team members.
    • Prepare and present completed estimating packages to company executives, senior management, and Operations team
    • Continuously follow up on bid projects and accurately forecast future awards/probabilities
    • Partner with Operations to properly transfer awarded projects and perform buyouts when necessary

    Here’s What We’re Looking For

    • A motivated problem-solver with relevant experience in electrical, mechanical, or plumbing estimating
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software, preferably Accubid, Bluebeam, and/or AutoBid
    • Ability to multi-task in a high volume, fast-paced work environment
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Must be organized, detail-oriented and efficient
    • Able to provide a high level of customer service
