Senior Hyperion Admin
About the Position

Position Responsibilities
- Investigate & resolve Hyperion/forecast related issues
- Provide excellent, adaptable customer service to Hyperion community
- Develop and deliver training to new users and ongoing skill enhancement training to existing users; update and improve training materials as needed
- Partner with users to collect and document business requirements for system enhancements and improvements; partner with end user Hyperion community and Hyperion Development team
- Help define the company technology strategy as it relates to financial planning and reporting
- Promote effective communications with FP&A system users on timelines, system processes, guidance, assumptions and system availability
- Develop and maintain catalog of all business rule calculation scripts, allocations, and custom calculations; perform validation that rules are functioning properly
- Perform monthly planning system maintenance tasks including scenario / version rollovers and accurate synchronization / integration of data from other financial and HR systems
- Handle user account requests, system access, and security
- Develop and run Hyperion reports.
- Support data integrations via Data Management / FDMEE / Oracle Integration Cloud and assist with ODI or other ETL tools as needed
- Lead or contribute to Oracle EPM Cloud implementations, upgrades, or new‑module rollouts (Planning, Financial Close & Consolidation, EPBCS)
Here’s What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science or Information Systems. Must have consolidation and intercompany‑elimination experience
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in a financial systems administrator role, including setup / maintenance of Oracle EPM modules (Planning, Financial Close & Consolidation)
- Demonstrated ability with a dedicated planning system and/or a large-scale financial system; experience using Hyperion Planning or HFM is preferred (Essbase, Oracle EBS is a plus)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including advanced Excel capabilities
- Expert‑level proficiency with Smart View, Financial Reporting Studio (FR Studio) or Oracle cloud EPM Reports or Management Reports, ad‑hoc grids, and dashboards
- Experience building or enhancing driver‑based planning models, rolling forecasts, and scenario modeling including Business Rules
- Exceptional organizational / time management abilities with superior attention to detail
- Ability to understand end user needs and to help design and develop solutions to meet those needs
- Customer collaborative with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent problem solving and analytic skills

Nice to Have
- Integration experience with Oracle EBS GL or another ERP system; strong understanding of GL structures and how they map to planning models
- Knowledge of data‑transformation processes / tools such as ODI
- Scripting skills in Calc Manager, Groovy, or Jython for custom calculations and automation
- Experience designing disaster‑recovery strategies and managing patch / server maintenance cycles
