At Power Design, investing in the future of the trades isn’t a tagline – it’s a commitment we show through action. That commitment was on full display during Draft Day for our Power Track Career Accelerator program. With a Winter Olympics–inspired theme, the celebration marked the next chapter for our newest group of Project Engineers as they wrapped up their two-year Power Track rotation and stepped into what’s next.

A Finish Line Worth Celebrating

Power Track is designed to challenge, stretch, and prepare new professionals for long-term careers in the trades. Participants join Power Design as Project Engineers and rotate through departments over two years, gaining hands-on exposure to the full scope of our business.

Draft Day was the moment those experiences came together, and they learned where their skills, interests, and strengths aligned best.

This approach doesn’t just prepare participants for one role, it builds well-rounded professionals with a deeper understanding of how a multi-trade, design-build organization operates. That perspective is what sets them up to lead teams, solve problems, and grow with the company long-term.

As these Project Engineers step into their new teams, they do so with real experience, strong relationships, and the confidence that comes from being supported every step of the way.
