Power Design welcomed our current and 28 new PowerU apprentices to the GRID for training and Signing Day!
Over the last few days, our newest class of PowerU apprentices dove head-first into our apprenticeship program and spent invaluable time getting to know our #PDIFamily better while taking part in hands-on activities taught by our Learning and Development team.
Signing Day is more than just a celebration. It’s our chance to honor the commitment of the next generation of the workforce as they take their first steps into a career in the trades, and with us at Power Design.
We celebrated more than just our newest PowerU class – we also recognized high achievers currently in our apprentice program: our Apprentice All-Stars! Each year, we compile a list of apprentices from coast-to-coast with the best grades, attendance, and performance reviews and this year… 90 apprentices took home the All-Star title!

Apprentices are able to fast track their trade career and practical skills by attending classes from virtually anywhere and receiving dedicated, paid, on-the-job training with successful, invested mentors. Every year, more young professionals join PowerU, and we are currently 300+ strong…and growing!
