Power Design’s new distribution and prefab center has topped out!
In November 2020, our new distribution and prefab center broke ground in Palmetto, FL – just south of our national headquarters in St. Petersburg, FL. Constructed of wall panels weighing 197,000 lbs each, the 208,000 SF facility will be double the size of Power Design’s existing facility, have three times the available pallet positions, and allow for 50,000 SF of prefabrication operations space. Plus, this expansion of Power Design’s national support infrastructure will create more than 80 new job opportunities in Manatee County.
135 horizontal steel elements were used to frame the roof and top out the build. The completion of the new facility is anticipated for December 2021 and it will begin operating early 2022.
