CRUSHED IT recognizes our near-perfect projects across the entire company; to achieve CRUSHED IT status, three targets must be hit – job site safety, plusONE customer satisfaction survey scores, and a stellar financial performance. The best part? If you’re ever on the GRID when a project reaches CRUSHED IT status, you’ll hear the Power Design Kong roar throughout campus!
All Power Design Superintendents that lead CRUSHED IT projects in 2021 were entered into a raffle for this year’s CRUSHED IT Truck Giveaway — a #Classic giveaway, at that.
A Tangerine Pearl 1956 Ford F100 Pickup Truck has been parked on the GRID, within our FUSE building’s lobby awaiting the selection of our CRUSHED IT Truck Giveaway winner. Joe Micallef, Chief Operating Officer at Power Design, had quite the surprise in store for attendees at our quarterly company-wide meeting this February; in true Joe fashion, he drove the classic pickup center-stage to give it away!
Robyn Orta, Senior Project Superintendent, attended the meeting as a participant, only to discover he was selected as this year’s CRUSHED IT winner! Joe handed over the keys to Robyn, who was overwhelmed with gratitude and appreciation. Check out his reaction below!
Robyn’s key to success? Planning ahead. He explained: “Planning all tasks ahead of time and meeting with the foreman every morning to go over the expected production and plan for the day/week is essential.”
