After a long afternoon of competition, the sand settled and the winners were announced. Between our two Power Design teams, we achieved second place overall winner, as well as first and second place in the Surf & Turf Relay. Way to go, team!

If you know Power Design, you know that culture is an integral part of how we do business – whether that is inside the office, out in the field, or even on the beach. We work hard so we can play even harder. This mindset extended to IEL’s 38th Annual Corporate Sportsfest, where 2,300 participants from 120 local companies tested their teamwork and determination in five different events.
Sportsfest allows employees to compete amongst friends and coworkers, get a workout in, and most importantly, cut loose and have some fun. Activities like these are particularly important during Mental Health Awareness month and have tremendous benefits on our individual mental health.
Power Design entered the event with two teams, totaling nearly 50 employees, and headed to Treasure Island Beach, FL, to compete in a Surf & Turf Relay, Tug-of-War, Beach Volleyball, Dodgeball, and Corntoss. For this year’s Sportsfest, Power Design sponsored the Beach Volleyball event – a #PDIFamily fan favorite!
