    Construction Inclusion Week 2022

Our #PDIFamily is different in many ways. Our backgrounds, upbringing, beliefs, genders, styles, you name it – we proudly celebrate each and every part of our people and all they bring to Power Design. It’s what creates a sense of community and a foundation in which innovation can thrive. We’re dedicated to cultivating and supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives – not just during Construction Inclusion Week, but all-year round.

    Commitment & Accountability
No matter the role, title, or position, every Power Design employee is a vital part of our collective goal and our commitment to creating an inclusive culture. Accountability and commitment are the basis of our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee – an employee group dedicated to fostering an inclusive workplace that reflects our communities and helps us learn new ways to grow our culture.

    Belonging
#PDIFamily is more than just a hashtag or trending topic for us. We take it seriously. Every employee is a part of what makes Power Design great, and we want everyone to know and feel that they’re valued and heard.

    Supplier Diversity
Every aspect of our industry is becoming more diverse, including the suppliers, vendors, and partners we work with. By supporting small businesses, like minority, woman, or Veteran owned, we can directly affect the communities where we live and work by strengthening the community’s economic health. Diversifying also allows us to access the best business to get the job done, no matter its size, and enhance supply chain capabilities with a larger selection to provide for our projects.

    Workplace Culture
We don’t just talk about workplace culture. It isn’t a stagnant idea, it’s something we practice daily in our lives and roles at work. We’ve built a family and positive workplace culture where all Power Design employees feel safe, respected and supported, so we can all do our best work, no matter whether working on our jobsite, on the GRID, or at the LINK. Our culture is felt in everything we do and say.

    Community Engagement
Power Design is dedicated to positively impacting the communities where we live and work. Through Project V5, we give back to the charities that are important to our employees; with team members across the nation, we contribute to a wide variety of regions, diverse causes, and communities that our people are passionate about. Not only do we make a difference through charitable work, but we also prioritize making a difference in the workforce. Through our PowerU Apprenticeship program, we train and enable the future generation of the industry, so they have the tools they need to support their families and give back to their communities.

Join Power Design in celebrating diversity in our industry not only this week, but every week!
