Now, this mother of three and busy CPA somehow finds the time to sits on multiple boards including the Florida Institute of CFOs, and the Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas and West Pasco Counties. “There’s nothing I enjoy more than watching my team enhance their expertise, develop new skills and grow in their careers. Creating an environment where that can happen is very exciting and rewarding.”

Her advice for successfully managing a company budget? Creating accountability and visibility. Involving the department leaders in the creation of the budget increases their accountability for hitting the number and creating visibility helps the budget owners stay on track.
