Building Hope and Homes, One Nail at a Time

For the third year running, Power Design sponsored and assisted Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas and West Pasco Counties’ mission to bring people together to build a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Heather Ford, CFO of Power Design and board member of Habitat for Humanity, was joined by our CEO Frank Musolino and 34 other Power Design employees, all helping to give back and build better homes for those in need.

From November 2021 to February 2022, Power Design employees spent a total of 252 hours working on building up the Mims’ future home. The recipient of this house, Rosalyn Mims, is a single mother who loves to spend quality time with her 14-year-old son Malachi. Being awarded this house will allow them a safe, secure environment to do the things they love. For Malachi that means cooking and playing basketball, golf, and video games!

There are many things the family is looking forward to in their new home –  having their own garage, a space to create lasting memories, and a yard to spend time in! You can find out more about their appreciation and aspirations on the Habitat for Humanity website.

Power Design is honored to be able to aid in constructing a home that Rosalyn and Malachi can call their own.

In addition to helping build the Mims’ future home, our very own Chief Executive Officer Frank Musolino, along with leaders from businesses across Tampa Bay, worked together to build a home for the Middlebrooks Family at this year’s CEO Build.
