    Hitting Historic (Billion Dollar) Milestones

For the first time in company history, Power Design has surpassed $1 billion in new job awards! The most exciting part? We’ve done so in only nine months – #goals.

We’ve gone from starting out in Mitch and Dana Permuy’s garage in ’89 to now more than 2,500 employees across 23 states, including our 40-acre headquarters (aka the GRID) in St. Petersburg and 208,000 square-foot prefabrication and distribution facility in Palmetto, Florida (aka. the LINK)!

“When Dana and I started the company, we weren’t thinking about a billion dollars as a goal. Now here we are with a billion-dollar accomplishment,” Power Design Co-Founder and Chairman Mitch Permuy said. “Reaching this milestone is a direct result of surrounding ourselves with the right people – from our field teams to our staff at the GRID, success like this is a result of the hard work, dedication, and efforts of our folks. Dana, the family, and I are really proud of them.”

Over the past 33 years, we’ve challenged the status quo by focusing on the future instead of the past. From pre-construction engineering and virtual design to prefabrication installation and construction, Power Design streamlines practices for partners and projects, allowing us to continue Designing What’s Next.

“As we have evolved over the years, we have focused on building better – whether that be through relationships, in training, or on the job site,” Power Design Chief People and Culture Officer Marlene Velez said.

We take the time to develop what the industry and our people need. That’s why our partners continue to trust us in bringing their buildings to life.

“Power Design was founded on the premise of growth and relationships, and this milestone is evidence of that foundation. We aren’t stopping here though! We are continuing to look to the future and help our partners shape skylines,” Musolino said.
