Power Design has always supported our employee’s health and wellness goals, and now, more than ever, it’s important for us all to stay connected and stay active. That’s why, when our campus fitness center closed to maintain best social distancing practices, our wellness team sprung into action and found a solution for the PDI gym closure: a PDI Fitness Facebook page.

Monday through Friday, our fitness instructors can be found teaching virtual classes for employees and their families to take part in from the comfort of their own homes, with offerings ranging from HIIT classes to stretch breaks, and even pilates.

Employees who can’t fit the live workouts into their schedules have the option to watch the playback at a later time, and still get checked into the fitness center.

“They are posted so you can do them whenever you get a free moment,” Jessica Towle, PDI fitness instructor, said.

The Wellness team has been able to keep us #PDIstrong, together. The Facebook group has allowed employees to feel strong and motivated – and as an unintended side effect, has also managed to confuse quite a few of our PDI pets.
