There’s a lot of green and gold running through Power Design.
With more than 150 University of South Florida alumni already part of our team, we’re taking it to the next level with a new multi-year partnership between Power Design and South Florida Athletics focused on creating opportunities for student-athletes right here in Tampa Bay!
The partnership will give USF student-athletes opportunities to connect with Power Design leaders and team members while learning more about internships, career paths and what life after college could look like.
One of our first priorities when we arrived on campus was to enhance our relationships in the Tampa Bay community. It was very clear from our first conversation with the leadership at Power Design that we were aligned in the power of using South Florida student-athletes as future members of Power Design's dynamic workforce. It speaks volumes that an industry leader like Power Design is excited to invest in its future with the Bulls."
Through mentorship and professional development, student-athletes will get the chance to build connections and gain real-world insight from pros across Power Design. These opportunities will expand on South Florida Athletics’ existing student-athlete Enhancing U program and its focus on preparing Bulls for success beyond the playing surface.
While the uniform may change after graduation, a lot of what makes a great teammate doesn’t.
Discipline, accountability, drive, and showing up for the people around you – those are qualities that matter on the field, on the jobsite, and everywhere in between. They’re a big part of why this partnership makes so much sense.

St. Petersburg has always been our home, and USF has been part of the story for plenty of the people who have helped us grow over the decades. Now, we get to help introduce the next generation of Bulls to even more possibilities for what comes next.
We’re proud to team up with South Florida Athletics, invest in the talent being developed in our own backyard and give student-athletes another place to put that Bulls drive to work.
