Hispanic Heritage Month: A Celebration of Culture and Connection

Our people are what make us strong – and the diverse backgrounds and experiences they bring to our teams are a big part of that.

Hispanic Heritage Month is all about celebrating the rich cultures, traditions and contributions of the Hispanic community – and with so many Hispanic team members across the GRID, LINK, Field and our Costa Rica office, there's plenty to celebrate!

Throughout the month, our teams came together to learn, connect and celebrate Hispanic culture in a variety of ways. From Spanish music playing across our St. Pete campus and a Havana-themed Zumba class to beginner Spanish lessons, a Spanish coffee chat and Hispanic-inspired dishes served up at SURGE, the celebrations gave our teams opportunities to experience something new and learn from one another.

But at the heart of the celebration were the voices of our own team members, who shared what their heritage means to them and a few of their favorite ways to celebrate their cultures. 

I was born and raised in Costa Rica! My background is deeply influenced by the values of family, hard work, community, resilience, and of course, the "pura vida" spirit that is such an important part of Costa Rican culture."
