That's a Wrap on Power Design's Regional Training Tour!

Power Design hit the road this fall, uniting more than 600 members of our #PDIFamily from the GRID and field! This year’s “Regional Roadshow” included our GRID teams traveling from coast-to-coast to facilitate in-person training, networking, and team-building for our field teams, and we all can agree – there’s nothing like being face-to-face!

From our Executive Team to our Learning and Development Team, employees from the GRID packed their bags and traveled across the country to provide Field leaders with insight into our 2022 company goals and discuss topics like technology, safety, building trust, and beyond. In the spirit of mentorship and professional development, our Executive Team cultivated a dialogue inspiring our current Field Leaders to foster and encourage growth on their jobsites:

There's lots of opportunity for growth at Power Design, and we need your help mentoring the next generation that have the desire to grow!

    Marcela Gomez |

    Chief of Staff

Marcela’s message proved to be a key takeaway for our Field Leaders such as Power Design Superintendent, Yosvani Diaz. Determined to encourage his team to be better leaders by holding them accountable for their decisions, Yosvani reflected on his own growth at Power Design:

I started here as an Electrician six years ago and never thought I would become a Superintendent. Power Design saw something in me – and I want to give my team the same opportunity.

In total, Power Design hosted 13 regional training sessions, traveling more than 17,000 miles roundtrip across 9 states and 14 cities. After making the most of our virtual Regional Trainings the last few years, this year’s in-person interaction brought a new spark to all teams involved and we can’t wait for more in 2022!
