    We Take Safety Seriously

At Power Design, safety is our top priority and our mission is simple – to make sure our #PDIFamily arrives home safe every day. That’s why during OSHA Safe and Sound Week, we’re Zeroing-In on recognizing, energizing, and celebrating our programs that help eliminate preventable injuries at work.

We care about the well-being of our employees which is why we created Zero-In: A Power Design program designed to acknowledge the hard work our field employees do to stay safe. The program focuses on jobsite safety including keeping our teams informed, educated, and aware of our processes in order to eliminate injuries.

Zero distractions. Zero incidents. Zero fatalities.

That’s what our Zero-In program is about. No matter what, Power Design is ready and determined to ensure our team members stay safe. As part of our goal to do so, we ask the #PDIFamily to re-sign our Zero-In pledge each year committing to the PPEs of safety: Practice It. Promote It. Expect It.

During National Safety Month in June, we introduced our new safety team in charge of helping employees stay informed and educated on jobsite safety. Led by our Senior Vice President Zac Elkins, the team consists of James Wilkinson, Director of QC and Safety and Safety Specialist, Robert Muldoon.

If our people aren’t getting home safe, then this is all for nothing. It’s number one, it’s our number one priority and it always will be at Power Design.
