    MANUFACTURING PLANNER

    About the Position

    Ready to manufacture the future of electrical distribution? We’re looking for an experienced pro to develop and execute manufacturing plans for Power Design’s custom-built electrical distribution panels, switchboards, and assemblies. This person will coordinate machining operations, control data, and workflow through Oracle Fusion, and optimize resources across material, equipment, and personnel to keep production running smoothly from start to finish.

    Position Responsibilities

    • Finalize work orders and develop detailed manufacturing plans for CNC machining and assembly operations
    • Define machining operations, assign work to machines, and determine tooling and inspection requirements
    • Manage and control all production data using Oracle Fusion, ensuring accuracy and traceability across systems
    • Work closely with the Procurement Team to plan material requirements, availability, and lead times
    • Oversee project planning to forecast workload, production capacity, and ramp-up schedules
    • Maintain workflow control by monitoring material flow, equipment usage, and personnel allocation across the shop floor
    • Collaborate with Programming, Quality, Procurement, and Sales teams to ensure alignment across all production stages
    • Assist with CNC programming and creation of internal shop drawings as needed
    • Optimize production scheduling, resource utilization, and workflow to meet customer deadlines and maintain operational efficiency

    Here’s What We’re Looking For

    • 5+ years of machining experience in turning and milling operations
    • Strong knowledge of CNC machining, tooling, and inspection processes
    • Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and 3D models
    • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems; experience with Oracle Fusion and ProShop ERP is a plus
    • Experience with CAD/CAM software or CNC programming preferred
    • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
    • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
