    WIRE PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE

    About the Position

    Ready to electrify your career? We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Wire Production Associate to join our manufacturing and distribution operations! This team member will work in our fast-paced warehouse to efficiently and safely prepare wire for shipment to our jobsites, while maintaining excellent quality.

    Position Responsibilities

    • Safely operate powered take-up and wire processing equipment
    • Pull wire from large reels stored in racking systems
    • Accurately measure and cut wire to customer-specified lengths
    • Install and secure wire pulling heads as required
    • Package, label, and stage completed orders for shipment
    • Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to standards
    • Maintain production logs, inventory usage, and traceability records
    • Perform daily equipment checks and report maintenance or safety concerns
    • Uphold all Power Design policies, quality procedures, and OSHA safety standards
    • Assist in keeping work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards

    Here’s What We’re Looking For

    • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
    • Prior experience in wire processing, electrical distribution, or manufacturing preferred
    • Ability to read and interpret cut sheets, work orders, and technical specifications
    • Proficiency with measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, etc.) and basic math
    • Mechanical aptitude and ability to safely use hand/power tools
    • Forklift experience or certification a plus
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, quality work
    • Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
    • Demonstrate and uphold Power Design’s core values of integrity, accountability, teamwork, innovation, and growth

    Physical Requirements

    • Lift and move up to 50 lbs. regularly; occasional lifts of up to 75 lbs. with assistance
    • Ability to push/pull heavy wire reels using material handling equipment
    • Standing, bending, reaching, and walking for extended periods
    • Manual dexterity for handling tools, heads, and packaging materials
    • Comfortable working in a warehouse/manufacturing setting (noise, heat, dust)
